Trailmech
Trailmech’s Vortex ratchet hubs turned in every wheel we built from 2019 to 2026, and they are the reason every Zolla wheelset carries a Ukrainian name. With the team now serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, production is on hold and the company is hibernating until the war allows it to return. We still support every Trailmech hub we’ve sold, and we look forward to working together again.
The Perfidious Albion
We sponsored the inaugural edition of The Perfidious Albion in 2021, a 2,400km ultra through Scotland, Wales and England that was won on a pair of our wheels. The series has since grown to include the Wild West Country, Blaenau 600 and more, and we remain a headline sponsor. Several riders now line up on Zolla wheels every year.
Two Volcano Sprint
This savage Italian ultra from Vesuvius to Etna was the first testing ground for our wheels in 2019. We returned as a sponsor in 2021, the year Andrew won it on Kyiv wheels, and again in 2022, when we were at the finish line to greet every exhausted rider as they rolled off the volcano.
Follow My Challenge
Run by Zolla’s Rob Gardiner, Follow My Challenge UK provides GPS tracking and live maps for ultra-endurance events across the UK and Europe. If you’ve dot-watched a race recently, there’s a fair chance you were watching their map, and a Zolla wheel or two on it.
Orb
Our sister company Orb specialises in commuter-focused cycling products for everyday use. Named after their first product, a bike light and bottle in one, they have since expanded to anti-theft lights and a range of belt-drive bikes.
