The terms

What’s covered

Our wheels are built to last, with each wheelset individually handbuilt. Therefore, we’re happy to offer a five-year warranty across all our wheels. This covers any material or workmanship failures or flaws. The warranty period begins from the day you receive your wheels.

The warranty is applicable to all parts including but not limited to rims, hubs, spares and accessories. It applies only to the individual or business who bought the wheelset directly from us and is not transferable upon resale of a wheelset, unless by prior commercial agreement with Zolla Wheels Limited.

Parts subject to normal wear and tear through regular use are excluded, including but not limited to bearings, disc rotors, tubeless tape and tyres.

The exclusions

What’s not

  • Wheels, parts or accessories that have been incorrectly installed, adjusted or maintained
  • Wheels, parts or accessories that have sustained damage by a crash, impact, abuse or improper use
  • Wheels, parts or accessories that have been modified, except where it could be considered routine maintenance and was performed by a qualified mechanic
  • Wheels, parts or accessories used for commercial or rental purposes
  • Normal wear items: bearings, disc rotors, tubeless tape, valves and tyres

Email us

Write to hello@zolla.cc with your name, order number or purchase date, and a description of the problem.

Send photos

A couple of clear photos of the issue, and of the wheel as a whole, usually let us diagnose it without you posting anything.

We sort it

If it’s a warranty fault we’ll repair or replace the affected part. If it’s crash damage or wear we’ll quote for a repair, and we keep spares for every wheel we’ve built.

Looking after your wheels

Keep them rolling

Hubs. Sealed hubs need no routine maintenance. If a hub starts to feel rough or notchy after a wet season, get in touch: it’s usually a quick service we can do or supply the parts for.

Freehub. Star-ratchet freehubs like a little of the right grease on the ratchet rings once a year or so. If the freewheel starts to skip or sounds different, that’s the first thing to check.

Spokes and tension. Handbuilt wheels settle slightly in their first few hundred kilometres. If you notice a wobble or a loose spoke, don’t ride it out: get in touch and we’ll advise or true it for you.

Tubeless. Top up sealant every few months and replace tape if it’s been disturbed when changing tyres. Tape and valves are inexpensive and we keep them in stock.
