These terms apply when you buy from zolla.cc. Please read them before you order. If you are a consumer, nothing in them affects your legal rights.
1. About us
zolla.cc is run by Zolla Wheels Limited, a company registered in England and Wales, company number 15439481, registered office 12 The Ridge, Bussage, Stroud, GL6 8HD. You can contact us at hello@zolla.cc. If we need to contact you, we will use the email address or phone number you gave with your order.
2. Our wheels
Every Zolla wheelset is built by hand to order. Photos on the site are representative: finish, decals and hub branding may vary slightly, and the hubs shown in some photos may differ from the hubs currently fitted. Weights are approximate and vary with hub, freehub and axle choice. If something matters to you, ask us before you order.
It is your responsibility to check that the wheels you choose suit your bike, including axle standard, brake rotor mount, freehub and tyre size. We are always happy to help you check.
3. Ordering
When you place an order you will receive an automatic email acknowledging it. Our contract with you starts when we email to confirm that we have accepted your order. If we cannot accept it, for example because a part is unavailable or there is an error in the price, we will tell you and refund anything you have paid.
4. Prices and payment
Prices are in pounds sterling. Where VAT applies, it is included in the price shown. Payment is taken when you order, securely through Stripe. If we have made an obvious error in a price, we will contact you before going ahead and you can cancel for a full refund.
5. Building and delivery
Because each wheelset is built by hand, we will give you an estimated build and dispatch time when we confirm your order. It depends on component availability, and we will keep you updated if it changes. If we cannot dispatch your wheels within 30 days of the estimate we gave, you can cancel for a full refund.
We deliver to the UK and to Europe. Delivery charges are added at checkout and shown before you pay. For anywhere else, email us before ordering and we will quote. Deliveries outside the UK may be subject to import VAT, customs duties and handling charges in the destination country. These are payable by the recipient and are outside our control.
The wheels are your responsibility from the time they are delivered to the address you gave us. They become yours once we have received full payment.
6. Changing your mind, returns and refunds
Consumers can cancel within 14 days of delivery for wheels built to our standard specifications. The full details, including custom builds and faulty goods, are in our returns and refunds policy.
7. Warranty and your legal rights
We are required by law to supply wheels that are as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality. In addition, every wheelset comes with our five-year warranty against faults in materials and workmanship. For detailed information on your legal rights, visit Citizens Advice at citizensadvice.org.uk.
8. Fitting and using your wheels
Wheels should be fitted by a competent mechanic. Use tyres within the size range we state for each rim, follow the tyre and rim pressure limits, and check your wheels regularly, especially after a crash or impact. Our warranty does not cover damage caused by incorrect fitting, maintenance, crashes or misuse, as set out on the warranty page.
9. Our responsibility to you
If we break these terms, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach or our failure to use reasonable care and skill. We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for breach of your legal rights in relation to the wheels.
If you are a consumer, we supply wheels for private use only, and we are not liable for business losses. If you are buying for a business, our total liability to you is limited to the price you paid for the wheels.
10. Your information
We use your personal information as described in our privacy policy.
11. Problems and disputes
If you have a problem, email us and we will do our best to put it right quickly. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, you can bring proceedings in the courts of England and Wales, or, if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, in the courts there.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies to your order is the one shown on this page when you placed it.
