Description
The Trans Am Bike Race is one of the longest and oldest self-supported races in the world. Using the ACAA's Trans America Trail, the route starts in Astoria, Oregon and crosses the continent from West to East finishing in Yorktown, Virginia almost 7000km later!The inaugural edition ran in 2014, with TCR's Mike Hall winning in 17d 16h, and 2VS's Juliana Buhring as the first woman in 20d 23h. Since then, notable winners include Lael Wilcox and Abdullah Zeinab.
