Description
Back for it's third edition in 2023, the Great British Divide is a unsupported MTB bikepacking event from one end of the country to pretty much the other.It’s not a race, it is an adventure to be completed in a couple of weeks. Travelling from the bottom to the top of Great Britain, at times taking a less obvious route that incorporates some of the best mountain biking we have to offer whilst passing through much of the most beautiful, dramatic and testing terrain in England, Wales and Scotland.The main route is around 70% off-road and with a distance of 2050km and more than 35000m of climbing .New for 2023 is a short(er) route too - starting from CP2 in Talybont and following the main route to the finish, it has a similar percentage of off-road and covers 1400km and 28000m of climbing.Whichever route option you choose this will be a challenge and experience you will never forget.In August 2023 will you be on the startline for the third edition of the Great British Divide….?
